Get in tune with The Z List

Ironically there are now infinite Z lists all over the Web since at any one point in time somebody can see a Z list from say Feb 2007 like we did and copy it and paste it below.  But of course there are many other Z-lists floating around from Jan 2007 that are slightly different.  And there will be even more Z-lists in July 2007 eventhough we are writing this now in April 2007.

Mack Collier from The Viral Garden started ‘The Z List‘ in December 2006 as a response towards Technorati’s method of assigning authority based on the number links pointing to a blog. The Z list is a blog meme, which sees bloggers creating and sharing a list of many links to blogs in a single post. Participants joining the Z list meme will have to copy and paste a list of blogs, while including any new blogs on the list that they feel should get the exposure they deserve.

To participate in the Meme you need to:

  1. Create a new post on your blog
  2. Copy and Paste the entire list of blog links below
  3. Add any blogs that you want to include near the top of the list. (This isn’t compulsory, so you can either add as many blogs as you want or none at all.)
  4. Include the blog where you first got the list from, on the list in your post
  5. Do not include your own blog links on the list in your post
  6. Make sure that all links point to each blog’s homepage
  7. Publish the Post
