Blair Underwood Auctions For the journeyPod Luxury Package

On February 5th 2009, celebrities turned out in full force to celebrate the Grand Opening of the hot new
restaurant, TONYS, on the Sunset Strip. The event was put together to raise funds and awareness for the amazing work of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.

Guests enjoyed dishes created by Executive Chef Tony Riviera while enjoying musical performances by Janelle Monae, Elijah Kelly, Kenny Lattimore and Brian McKnight.

Maria Menounos received a special recognition for her continued support to the hospital. Celebrity guests included Entourage’s Kevin Connolly, Blair Underwood, Cheatah Girl Adrianne Bailon, Fonzworth Bentley, Jake Austin, Choreographers Shane Sparks & Twitch, American Pie’s hottie Shannon Elizabeth and many more.

The highlight of the night was the live auction which raised over $20k for the hospital. journeyPod put together a luxury travel package which included a Dooney & Bourke Croco Duffel bag and a Scandia Down travel pillow. Blair Underwood auctioned and won this amazing package!

Looks like Evan Ross (son of Diana Ross) will be hosting a Caffe Primo Gelato and Cupcake Party – donated by Tony Riviera and Charlton Liu.

Other auction items included 2 Tickets to the Premiere of “Brothers”, starring Jake Gyllenhall, Tobey Maguire, and Natalie Portman, 2 VIP Passes to the 2009 American Music Awards private rehearsal and a game of Tennis with two time Olympian Tennis Pro Vince Spadea.
