Rachael Ray Amstel Light Burger Bash in South Beach
Scoot over vegans and make room for the hungry carnivores out there. This was not your average BBQ on the beach! The barefooted, beautiful & privileged attendees tasted only the best selection of meat as top chefs from all over the country flipped beef burgers, tuna burgers, salmon burgers and more. Think chive and onion potato chips have the best flavor – you haven’t tried them drissled in truffle oil and parmesan! Amstel Light was to thank for the smooth malt flavor to accompany these marvelous creations.
journeyPod got close to the esteemed Iron Chef Morimoto as he grilled one heck-of-a-burger! Our vote went out to David Walzog, Executive Chef of the SW Steakhouse at the Wynn Las Vegas. Black-truffled mushroom duxelles and creamy robiola cheese compliment the juicy patty, slipped between a griddled English muffin -yum!
Rachael Ray awarded former Top Chef contestant Spike Mendelsohn for his creation – beating out the tastes of Bobby Flay, Katie Lee Joel (yes, she’s Billy Joel’s wife), Pat & Gina Neely.
